Der Afrikafreundeskreis unterstützt den Bau und Ausbau dieses Schulkomplexes im Nordwesten Tansanias. Vor Ort mitgewirkt hat lange Zeit unser Mitglied Ellen Pfister.

"A stretch of new classrooms at JIPE MOYO. There is ample land for construction of more buildings – for secondary school and more."

"Pupils learn in groups. Here they respond to photographer’s gesture for a punctuated photo. Standing: Mr. Pastory Rugaimukamu – the Headtecher.”
Nun äußerten sich erstmals die Kinder selbst (Feb, 2006):
This Is Our Kishuro
WHEN we live they do
We the children of Kishuro;
All the people do
All living things do
And life flourishes for
Kishuro and the world.
WHEN we smile they do
We the children of Kishuro;
Our teachers do
Our fathers and mothers do
So do our friends and
Friends of Jipe Moyo.
WHEN we dance they do
We the children of Kishuro;
Our neigbours do
Trees around us do
So do our friends
At home and abroad.
WHEN we learn they do
We the children of Kishuro;
Our age mates do
Our elders do
So do all good children
At all learning places.
WHEN we grow they do
We the children of Kishuro;
Our elders do
And vanish with time
So do we come in
Their positions to fill.
WHEN we are everywhere
We seeds of Jipe Moyo;
Our deeds to excel
For everyone to emulate
Forward the wheel shall push
And victory is certain.
Long live Jipe Moyo
Long live Kishuro
The future is ours
Through learning
Through working
Through the struggle!

"Pupils get out of class room at tea time and pose for a photograph”

"Staff and visitors may often retire to the grass roofed 'banda' – right in the middle – when it is too warm in the iron roofed offices.”
